Cold Filtered Coffee

COLD PRESSED COFFEE

Ingredients

1/2 cup ground coffee (I use Goroka ground coffee from the Highlands of Papua New Guinea)

2 cups cold filtered or bottled water

 

Method

Place the ground coffee and cold filtered water into a large jar, mix well and put the lid on and place into the fridge.  Leave for at least 12 hours.

Once ready, using a fine cheese cloth or nut milk bag, strain the coffee into another clean jar or glass bottle.  Squeeze and press the coffee through to get the most out of the ground coffee.  This concentrated liquid can now be used to make cold coffee drinks.

Depending on how strong you like your coffee, go with a 1:3 ratio of coffee to water, or coffee to milk.
