It’s called Kulau here in PNG, the fresh juice from a young coconut. It’s so good for you as soon as the coconut is cracked open. It does however lose value as soon as it is exposed, but when you add some friendly bacteria and turn it into Kefir, then it transforms nutritionally and becomes your guts’ best friend.
How does it taste? Nothing like coconut water as you would know it, has a slight fizz and so refreshing. My new fav.
