I don’t like to waste tummy room and time on food that doesn’t make my taste buds dance. I don’t eat commercial gluten-free baked goods, it all tends to taste like the packet it came in with a bit of sugar added. But when you can make it yourself, and prepare the flours and flavours, gluten free can be quite amazing.
This is focking great banana bread believe me! Have it with what ever you tickles the fancy… I could go with Nutella, but I have just eaten mine toasted with plain butter a small drizzle of honey.
When I say unsweetened, there is a bit of natural sugar within the bread recipe, a quarter cup of honey and the natural sugar from the banana, and if you use super ripe – almost black – bananas, your bread can be even sweeter.
