It’s called Edition, one of the latest gastropubs to open in Hong Kong. Nestled at the top of a side street in central Hong Kong, you will be drawn to this super interesting menu which is a real fusion of Korean and American. We were lunching with our little one, so we made sure that what we ordered could be appreciated by all. It seems our little one totally appreciates this kind of food.
What I love the most about Edition is its size and the unassuming entrance and allure. The interior is black and amber, with bottles and signs using masking tape, like a perfumery or laboratory. This bar has every flavour of Soju you can possibly imagine and flavours that are unimaginable. If it were not for the time of day, and the company, I would have sampled one for sure, like the Jasmine Soju… amazing, a place I would go to with a few girlfriends for a bit of people watch and talk.
Back to the food, we had a great mix of dishes to share, the popcorn chicken house salad was fresh and delightfully sweet, but my favourite was the Bulgogi (Korean BBQ beef) slider. This would have to be the most delicious ‘bar’ food I have ever tasted. Follow your adventure in Hong Kong to Soho and stop at this little hang out for a bite to eat.
