Apple Crumble, a new crunch in my cooking world.


Who loves apple crumble?  Here is my twist on it, a bit of cashew and coconut in a crumbly oat crumble – just what the weekend is calling for.  I love doing classics and adding a little bit of spice to the recipe, in this case I did literally add spice, a small handful of sweet preserved ginger in the freshly stewed apple.

I am not much of a slice person, but there are few that I make exception to, like a caramel slice and now this apple crumble slice.  I kept a small slice to devour at home, but the rest have gone to a Client’s cabinet to share with their customers.  I hope they sell like hot cakes, even though it is a slice. 🙂
