Little devilish delights made of chocolate & mandarin


These cakes are my sons favourite, so chocolately and soft and a bit gluggy… a nice gluggy of course.

They are called Devil’s food cake and the recipe is special to me, it come out of a book which I carried all they way from New York to Port Moresby on one of the most memorable trips of my life.  Today I added sweet little mandarin segments which springs a little citrus teaser and makes for a special morning or afternoon tea.

These oversized molten cakes are available if you happen to be in the city of Port Moresby and visiting the town area… if they are not snatched up by the little resident who is wondering why they have left home.
