Buckle-up for a Buckwheat Breaky


Buckwheat you ask?  Where can you get it?  What is it?  Why should you eat it?  In my previous post I mentioned some of the properties of buckwheat, like reduction of water retention, non allergenic, high in protein, gluten-free, it can also help in weight loss.  It is another super food to add to the list and generally is organically grown because it’s grows very quickly and easily and doesn’t need pesticides or fertilizers.  It’s not available here at the moment, but keep your ears and eyes out…

You are probably more interested in the ‘nicecream’… it’s ice cream made from pure frozen fruit, and in our case this morning banana and pineapple.  The overnight buckwheat turned out a treat, it’s a nice change from oats and honestly, I feel amazing after eating breakfasts like this.  The energy levels are set for the rest of the day.
