Labneh dipped in spicy Dukkah, marinated in Olive Oil

To have now, or to have later… probably now because they are sooooo good.

You may remember the post this morning of broccoli fried rice, well the Labneh was that special something.  You can make Labneh with your eyes closed, you have to have patience and a bowl, sieve and cloth and some natural full cream yoghurt. The Dukkah was purchased, yes of course you can make your own, but I bought some from a gourmet grocer and it’s unbeatable in taste, and made with traditional raw ingredients which I don’t have on hand.

I used extra virgin olive oil and fresh organic herbs from my herb garden.  The simple things in life are totally the best.  We will be enjoying this over the course of the long weekend.
