Pickles are perfect with anything, thrown into salads for that extra bit of tang and bite, perfect on sandwiches or with your platter of cheese and biscuits.  How do you like your pickles?

These were done over the weekend because I had fresh cabbage from our garden and a few extra carrots and things, so rather than a stir-fry, I thought pickles would be nice and they will last a few weeks as well.  These pickles were done with rice vinegar and sugar.
