It’s not Jam, it’s my protein smoothie!

Today’s smoothie is power packed with protein and anti-oxidants.  The treat at the bottom of my cottees jar is my lemon chia seed pudding loaded with protein and fibre, and the smoothie is frozen kale, pineapple chunks and blue berries and a scoop of my one and only Protein powder by Shape (Josh Mills), I don’t use any other.

As of this week, every used jar in this house hold will be collected and used for pudding, bircher muesli, home made yoghurt and smoothies – why not?  Yes Mason jars are wonderful and they are conveniently squarish, and on trend, but good old jam and pickle jars are even better and it’s the whole recycling concept that had me started.
